Between <\/span>November 5 and 7, 2025<\/b>, the <\/span>Inprosec Group<\/b> actively participated in the <\/span>V Encontro Ciber.gal<\/b><\/a>, Galicia\u2019s flagship <\/span>cybersecurity event<\/b>, organized by <\/span>AMTEGA<\/b><\/a> in collaboration with public and private entities.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Held in Santiago de Compostela, the event brought together professionals, institutions, and citizens to discuss, share, and promote a safer digital culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a <\/span>strategic sponsor<\/b>, the <\/span>Inprosec Group<\/b> reaffirmed its commitment to <\/span>cybersecurity<\/b>, participating in a variety of technical, educational, and awareness-raising activities throughout the three days of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Presentation of the Industrial Cybersecurity Laboratory and Demonstration Center<\/span><\/h2>\n

On <\/span>Thursday, November 6<\/b>, our Business Development Director,<\/span> Pedro Est\u00e9vez<\/b><\/a>, took part in the session dedicated to the <\/span>cybersecurity laboratories and demonstration centers<\/b><\/a> promoted by the <\/span>Xunta de Galicia<\/b>, presented by <\/span>AMTEGA<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During his talk, Pedro introduced the ambitious project for the <\/span>Industrial Cybersecurity Laboratory and Demonstration Center<\/b>, assigned to <\/span>InprOTech<\/b>, designed as a key element of Galicia\u2019s emerging cybersecurity ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

This center is part of the network of laboratories that the Xunta plans to launch in early <\/span>2026<\/b>, within the framework of the <\/span>Galician Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity (CECIGA)<\/b>. Its mission is to <\/span>promote advanced cybersecurity services, specialized training, product validation, and applied research<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>InprOTech <\/b>Laboratory will focus specifically on <\/span>industrial and OT environments<\/b>, serving as a space to <\/span>experiment, demonstrate, and train<\/b> with real-world industrial cybersecurity solutions \u2014 from threat detection and attack simulation to the validation of countermeasures adapted to operational environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

POSEIDON Project Demonstrator: Innovation Applied to the Integral Water Cycle<\/span><\/h2>\n

On <\/span>November 5 and 6<\/b>, a <\/span>model of our <\/b>POSEIDON<\/b><\/a> project<\/b>, developed together with <\/span>TECDESOFT<\/b><\/a>, was on display in <\/span>Room 10<\/b> of the event. This demonstrator showcases and anticipates <\/span>InprOTech\u2019s practical vision<\/b> for the <\/span>Industrial Cybersecurity Laboratory<\/b>, previewing one of the demonstration models that will be featured in the future facility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through <\/span>POSEIDON<\/b>, attendees discovered how we integrate the <\/span>management of instrumented systems and processes within the Integral Water Cycle<\/b> with <\/span>cybersecurity event monitoring<\/b>, illustrating real use cases on the protection of essential infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cybersecurity Begins with People: \u201cThe Human Factor as the First Line of Defense\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n

That same day, our Cybersecurity Manager<\/span>,\u00a0 <\/b>Antonio Cebreiro<\/b><\/a>, delivered a talk titled <\/span>\u201cThe Human Factor: The First Line of Defense\u201d<\/b>, highlighting the importance of <\/span>awareness, continuous training, and cybersecurity culture<\/b> as key elements to protect organizations against today\u2019s threats.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation emphasized that technology alone is not enough without a <\/span>well-prepared and committed team<\/b>, and it also served as a preview of one of the <\/span>flagship services in our new Information Security portfolio at <\/b>Inprosec<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
