One of the biggest success stories of our company has been the <\/span>deployment of <\/b>InprOTech Guardian<\/b><\/a> for the <\/span>asset inventory and<\/b> the<\/span> continuous monitoring<\/b> at the Adhex industrial plant. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adhex Tech Tapes<\/b> is a subsidiary of <\/span>Adhex Technologies<\/b><\/a> created in July 2001 and specialized in the development of activities linked to the manufacturing of <\/span>adhesive solutions<\/b> and <\/span>protection solutions<\/b> (sealing, acoustic, thermal, and surface) for <\/span>the automotive sector<\/b> (OEMs and Tier1).<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, it holds the quality certification <\/span>IATF16949<\/b>, in addition to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CCAP (Certification for China). The production plant in Porri\u00f1o (Spain) is recognized as a Q1 supplier for Ford and A level for the VW Group, and carries out sustainable and environmentally respectful activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

THE CHALLENGE<\/b><\/h2>\n

Adhex identified a critical need: the <\/span>lack of visibility<\/b> regarding the devices connected to its <\/span>industrial network<\/b>, especially in relation to <\/span>wireless networks<\/b> such as Bluetooth and WiFi. This deficiency pointed to the <\/span>absence of a complete and updated asset inventory<\/b>, which generated uncertainty and concern within the technical team.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main consequence of this scenario was a <\/span>greater exposure<\/b> to <\/span>cybersecurity threats<\/b>. The presence of <\/span>obsolete devices<\/b>, <\/span>unknown devices<\/b> or <\/span>unmonitored devices<\/b> could represent <\/span>hidden risks<\/b>, <\/span>critical vulnerabilities<\/b> and <\/span>difficulties<\/b> when implementing <\/span>effective preventive measures<\/b>. Additionally, Adhex needed to improve OT network supervision as part of its industrial security reinforcement strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

INPROTECH SOLUTION<\/b><\/h2>\n

To respond to these needs, InprOTech deployed our solution <\/span>InprOTech Guardian<\/b>, an advanced platform for <\/span>automatic asset inventory<\/b>, <\/span>vulnerability detection<\/b> and the generation of <\/span>real-time security alerts.<\/b> This solution offers <\/span>full visibility<\/b> of devices connected to industrial networks, including those present in wireless environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, a monitor was integrated with Guardian, allowing Adhex\u2019s technical team to consult in a <\/span>simple and centralized way<\/b> the status of its industrial network at any time from its IT room.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before our intervention, <\/span>the client did not have an automated or updated system<\/b> for asset management or for constant monitoring of its OT network. This made <\/span>proactive threat detection<\/b> difficult and increased the <\/span>dependence on manual reviews<\/b>, which were inefficient in production environments and completely ineffective for early cyberattack detection.<\/span><\/p>\n

The solution implemented by InprOTech <\/span>corrected these deficiencies<\/b> by enabling dynamic visualization of the network map, automatic detection of unknown devices, and proactive identification of vulnerabilities. During the deployment phase, unmonitored connected devices and exposed assets that were not properly fortified were even detected, issues that the client had not previously identified and which could be resolved quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n
