The Report on Cooperation and Investment Opportunities<\/strong> by the Industrial Cybersecurity Observatory, published by the Xunta de Galicia through AMTEGA within the framework of the RETECH project, marks a turning point in the way industrial cybersecurity in Galicia<\/strong> is understood. <\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the information gathered in the document, and from a business strategy perspective, it is possible to reflect on how industrial cybersecurity can stop being perceived simply as a \u201csecurity issue\u201d and become a key pillar of the digital transformation, competitiveness and resilience<\/strong> of the industrial fabric.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report identifies market niches, collaboration spaces and support lines (including Next Generation EU funds) to promote projects focused on the protection of critical infrastructures, the validation of industrial solutions and the development of specialised talent. This type of analysis helps align the technical vision with the financial and strategic reality of companies and public bodies, encouraging a much more mature and sustainable approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most relevant ideas in the document is that industrial cybersecurity is not only a compliance or protection requirement<\/strong>: it is a competitive differentiator. Companies capable of demonstrating a strong security posture in their production processes, control systems and OT communications gain credibility with customers, investors and regulatory bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Inprotech, as one of the entities participating in the Industrial Cybersecurity Laboratory and Demonstration Centre<\/strong> awarded by the Xunta through AMTEGA, we see this report as a roadmap that is closely aligned with our role. The Laboratory and Demonstration Centre, with its industrial mock-ups, physical environments and multi-user simulation tools, acts as a bridge between industrial reality and innovation: it allows companies to validate solutions before deployment<\/strong>, train internal teams and test incident response strategies without affecting production.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond technology, the report focuses on collaboration: between companies and public administration, between research centres and private entities, and between different production sectors. This type of cooperation is key for Galicia to consolidate its position as a benchmark in industrial cybersecurity<\/strong> at national and European level.<\/span><\/p>\n

For us, the awarding of the Laboratory and Demonstration Centre by the Xunta through AMTEGA is a recognition of the track record of Inprosec and InprOTech in the field of OT cybersecurity, but also a responsibility: to deliver real value to the community, not only through technology, but also through knowledge, services and training.<\/span><\/p>\n

What the report makes clear is that industrial cybersecurity is not an end in itself<\/strong>, but a means: a means to protect essential services, boost competitiveness, attract investment and position Galicia as a reference hub in one of the most critical areas of the digital economy.<\/span><\/p>\n
