It all started in 2017 when the first Hack&Beers was held in Vigo with a simple idea; relaxed talks on computer security, with the aim that attendees, in addition to learning, enjoyed a good atmosphere between speakers and attendees.
The Inprosec Group has always been close to this type of initiatives that seek the dissemination and training in cybersecurity issues. And therefore, since its inception we were present, here you can review our participation in the 2nd Hack&Beers. Subsequently we have continued to attend the following editions, until Hack&Beers became Vicon in 2019.
In this first edition of the Vicon we had the opportunity to attend as sponsors, the experience was unbeatable and we were able to enjoy presentations where current issues were discussed and the national talent that exists in the cybersecurity sector was highlighted.
After the pandemic, Vicon returns on April 8 and 9, 2022 at the Círculo de Empresarios de Vigo, and the Inprosec Group will once again be present, this time with its Industrial Cybersecurity subsidiary InproTech, which will be represented by its Managing Director Ibán Morillo, its Cybersecurity Consultant Alba Ramos and Sofía Castañeda, Data Privacy Consultant of Inprosec.
For us it is a pleasure to be present in this new edition, where the presentations cover topics such as advantages and disadvantages of the DNS protocol, sandboxing, attacks on 5G and 4G networks or BlueTeam cybersecurity techniques among others.
